Our website supports Transport Layer Security (TLS) authentication in order to access the portal from the web browser in a secured manner. The personal information that members enter is encrypted in transit using TLS digital certificates. This allows web browsers and web servers to communicate over a secured connection. Once this data is stored in our database we have encryption at rest for the sensitive user data such as account number/credit card number, which helps to safeguard the sensitive information stored in the database from a hacker/unauthorized person. In addition, we follow a number of security and compliances including, but not limited to: PCI-DSS, EI3PA, FACTA, FCRA, GLB, GDPR, etc.

Your Social Security number is used for the Identity Verification process required to create your account and start the identity monitoring services. During the sign-up process, Kroll uses your identifiers, such as your SSN, to display identity verification questions to which the answers are unique to your background information.

Your email address is used to login to our system and must be unique. If you received a message that your email already exists in our system, and/or you do not have a unique email address, you can find helpful information on how to complete the signup process here.

If you are experiencing issues signing up for your monitoring services, first check that you are entering your information, including membership number, last name, and zip code, as it is indicated in your letter or email.
